About the Instructor

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

As a former Kumon student in both the math and reading program, I have had the opportunity to experience the quality of Kumon. I have worked at three Kumon centers within 11 years and became Chief Assistant for the last 5 years before taking over as an Instructor. 

I now share my knowledge to all of my students and their parents. Having exposure to all sides of the spectrum in this learning program, I have been able to grow and expand my skills to help motivate each student. I am truly passionate about supporting each child to reach their full potential and my goal is to ensure they develop into excellent independent learners.
