My name is Neelam Neotia, and I am the instructor for the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Springhurst. My degree is in Math and Physics and I started my career in civil engineering, where I worked for seven years. To nurture my passion for education, I volunteered in elementary public schools while working full time in civil engineering. There I learned about Kumon and, to my surprise, found out first-hand that students who were involved in the program were achieving greater results.
I was so impressed with my findings about the program that I trained at the National Training Center of Kumon North America, Inc. in 2004 and volunteered in other centers for several months around this area, finally opening my first location, the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Jeffersontown in March, 2005. Since then I have helped numerous children achieve incredible results with Kumon, thus leading me to open my second center, Kumon of Springhurst, in August, 2010.
I have simply cherished my past 18 years of service to Kumon and my students and still am equally or even more passionate about the services I offer to my students compared to when I first started. I have learned from my students over the years and am very proud to be able to offer this service in my community. There is an unparalleled degree of satisfaction and fulfillment every day when I help children realize their potential. I look forward to working with your children!
