About the Instructor

I truly love children and teaching! I welcome students who want to study and develop a good attitude about their academics to join us at the Kumon Center of Stuart. I hope to maintain a happy environment here, where students can overcome struggles and make school work easier and smoother.

I have two children: a son who is currently attending the University of Central Florida for computer science and a daughter who is excited to start middle school at Treasure Coast Classical Academy. As a Kumon parent, I watched my daughter progress in the program. She started as a child who didn’t really like to read, and she grew into a young woman who now enjoys reading and even writing and illustrating her own short stories. I attribute her increased independence to Kumon, as she now plans and executes her own creative projects.

I started my career as a teacher in Taiwan. Then, I came to the United States, where I furthered my education, earning a bachelor's in economics at USC and a master's in education(new media design and production) from California State LA. Most recently, I have been teaching Chinese at Tzu Chi Academy in Miami.
