We are located in Newton Crossing at the south east corner of King George BLVD and 72nd Ave.
We offer the Kumon Math & Reading programs, and also Kokugo for Japanese speakers (Japanese language program).
We’re happy to announce that our Centre has resumed in-person classes as of July 6, 2020.
At Kumon, we’re committed to the safety of our community.
We have made some significant changes to our daily operations in order to ensure the well-being of all our students, parents and staff. Now that our Centre has reopened for classes, we want you to feel confident in the fact that the safety of your children is our top priority.
Some of our new measures include:

Reduced Centre Capacity
In order to ensure that safety practices outlined by WorkSafe BC, the BC CDC, and the Provincial Health Officer are maintained, we have implemented a comprehensive scheduling system and limited our classroom capacity. Barriers have been installed to partition student space. Each student studying in-centre will be assigned their own table with 3 partitions separating students from other students and staff.
Facemasks for Kumon Staff and Students
Staff members will wear masks at all times, regardless of whether or not they interact with students directly. All students attending in person must wear masks and keep them on at all times. All visitors are also asked to wear a face covering when visiting the centre.
Enhanced Sanitization Practices
All surfaces will be regularly cleaned, sanitized, and disinfected. Hand sanitizer is available for students to use upon entry and exit.
Give us a call at 604.595.1468 to find out more about the Kumon method and how your child can benefit! We would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
