About the Instructor

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Hi there! I'm Harjot Kang, your enthusiastic Kumon Instructor! Growing up in the vibrant community of San Ramon, I've always believed in the power of education to transform lives. Having personally experienced the benefits of Kumon as a child and later as a tutor during my college years, I'm thrilled to be on the other side, guiding and inspiring young learners in my own Kumon center. Opening a Kumon Center isn't just about running a business—it's about giving back to my community and positively impacting local children's lives. With a passion for helping kids succeed and a deep commitment to my community, I can't wait to embark on this exciting journey with you and your child.
