About the Instructor

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Biography and Background

Mr. and Mrs.Teruchi and Noriko Tsuji opened one of the first Kumon Centers in the US back in 1983. For 35 years, Mr. and Mrs. Tsuji have developed not only a very deep and thorough knowledge of the Kumon materials, but have established great relationships with the tens of thousands of Kumon students that they have had the privilege of interacting with. Their desire is to develop independent, self-learning students who have confidence in their own ability. Our goal as instructors is to help students see the confidence in themselves. We sincerely believe in our students’ capability to accomplish great things and are truly concerned about our students during the learning process and in helping them achieve success in learning.
