My daughter has been attending Kumon Reading and Math since she was 18 months at Wheeling Center. We would like to thank you for the support and effort you took to develop her Reading and Math skills. We are very amazed with the progress that she is showing during this period, specially her reading skills and vocabulary.
Kumon has helped her in reading and meet math building blocks. Kumon helped her to move forward and learn more advanced concepts of reading and foundation of grammar in reading. Kumon also helped her to focus more on the task she is doing, taught her the discipline and independence while studying.
The Kumon program allowed her to read good variety of materials at different levels. She had developed an interest in reading from simple books to much more complex ones and, most importantly, she did it on her own. Also, her teacher from school gave feedback saying she is very good in writing and encouraged her to be an author.
You worked really close with her and gave constant guidance and support. She got encouragement from you. She mentioned many times about your techniques while working on homework.
So thank you again for all your effort to develop her skills and interest in study. I am sure this will help her for the long run. We will surely remember your techniques and will try to help her the same way going forward.

My son has been attending his Kumon class for just over 3 years - he is now nine years old. Although we enrolled him because he was struggling in school, Kumon has helped him so much that he is now about 2 years ahead of his actual expected level for his age and is doing really well in school. He has not only benefited academically but has now become a much more confident and happy child!
Kumon does not only benefit children who find learning difficult because it all works on a"just-right" level of learning. Schoolwork is tailored to meet the needs of an average child but it is more difficult for a teacher to meet the needs of children who are struggling or who are particularly gifted, but because Kumon assesses the needs of each specific child, and the child learns at his or her own pace, it benefits all levels of ability. In my opinion the Kumon Method ensures that each child reaches their own individual potential.
