About the Instructor

Dennis Cerutti is the Director the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Williamsburg. Throughout Mr. C’s illustrious 25-year career in Brooklyn Education, he has worked improving the academic careers of thousands of students. Mr. C arrived in Williamsburg in 2022, bringing with him a career that has included almost 10 years of classroom teaching experience as a Junior High Math teacher to the role. A passionate educator, he has dedicated his career to fostering academic excellence and personalized learning. Mr. C is also a five-time recipient of the prestigious "Best of Brooklyn Tutor" award, a testament to his commitment to helping students achieve their full potential. With a focus on innovative teaching methods and a deep understanding of individual learning needs, Mr. C is proud to continue to inspire both students and educators alike at Kumon Williamsburg.

Dennis Cerutti's Education Background:

• 10 Years of Classroom Experience teaching 5th - 8th grade. He has taught Honors', Remedial, and Class-wide Math.
  
• Dennis holds a Masters' Degree in Instructional Technology.
• During his 5-year career working for Kumon Corporate, he was a Territory Manager of Brooklyn, Long Island and Queens Kumon Centers. He was on the project team that helped build Kumon's initial expansion into Manhattan. His first center in Bay Ridge was initially built in 2010 as a training center. There he would help teach and train new Kumon Instructors before they purchased their first centers. He purchased Kumon Bay Ridge in 2012. During his time in Bay Ridge, he was named "Best of Brooklyn Tutor 5 times for the years of 2014, 2018, 2020, 2021, and 2024.
• Dennis arrived in Kumon Williamsburg in May of 2022, and since his arrival Williamsburg has been one of the fastest growing centers in the country.
• Dennis was named to Marquis "Who's Who in America" for Education in 2020.
