Our students, ranging from preschool through 12th grade, develop the skills that help them build upon each concept they learn. With individualized learning plans, motivation and practice, our center prepares students to become avid learners, encouraging success throughout their entire academic experience and beyond.

The Math Wizard

Hannah was enrolled in the Kumon program already when she moved to Oregon and transferred to the Wilsonville Center. In the 2+ years since joining Kumon of Wilsonville Hannah has progressed seamlessly through the foundational levels and is now working well beyond 3 years above grade level. With her continuous daily study, Hannah has not only ensured her success in the Kumon program but has also set herself up for success in high school and beyond. In addition to doing Kumon every day, Hannah is a member of a competitive swim team. As well, she studies a second language outside of her regular school schedule.  Her mother has attested to the fact that Kumon has helped Hannah become a well- rounded individual.

The Struggling Reader

Zach enrolled for the first time in Kumon of Wilsonville in 2008. Since joining Kumon Zach has gone from being a struggling reader to being a fluent, confident reader with stronger comprehension skills.  This has transferred into his school work where now he receives mega spelling lists that focus not only on spelling but on developing and strengthening his vocabulary skills as well. Life is busy with his sports-oriented family but their commitment to daily Kumon study has attributed to his steady progress and his improvement in school.
