Rashmi Agarwal is the Kumon Instructor for the Arlington-Yorktown Center, who helps students of all ages and abilities reach new levels of academic success. She is a former Kumon parent, who after seeing the benefits of the program for her own son, decided to open a Kumon Center in order to help other children succeed in their studies.
Prior to opening her Kumon Center in 2004, Rashmi received a Master's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Delhi, India, and an MBA in Finance from SUNY - Binghamton, in New York. She worked for a number of years as a credit analyst in commercial banking, was a substitute teacher, and is a devoted mother of two sons. As a strong advocate for education, she helps her students master concepts in Math and Reading, and believes that there is unlimited potential in each student she works with.
Rashmi’s greatest joy as an Instructor is seeing students gain confidence and master concepts that are at their grade level and beyond. She views her students as an “extended family” and has had an opportunity to see many former students grow into successful college students and adults- many of whom still come back to visit!
