Profile Picture

Ravi opened the Kumon-Mississauga Rd and Sandalwood Parkway Centre in Nov 2017. Ravi was seeking an opportunity that would allow him to keep learning, while doing something he loved.

Ravi’s love for children and supporting their growth is what motivated him to give up a successful career in Finance. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Ravi had the opportunity to work with some truly amazing Tier 1, Fortune 500 companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Siemens and Kraft over a span of 20 years.

Ravi has a strong belief that it is important to have a deep understanding of the Kumon Philosophy and its Instruction Principles, and it is through this belief Ravi has strengthened his conviction in the Kumon Method and the value that it delivers.

Kumon has now become "a way of life" for Ravi and his family. Both his sons, Dhruv and Kshitij, were Kumon students and that was their first exposure to Kumon. Ravi’s wife, Vidhu Mathur, then opened her own Centre in Brampton- Chinguacousy Rd and Queen St (W) in 2014. After graduating from University, their two sons have chosen Kumon as their career path and are working full-time as Chief Assistants in their respective centers. Ravi’s personal experiences have allowed him to see firsthand the true value of the Kumon Program and the difference it can make in a student's life.

Ravi continues to build trust in his community and has the attitude to always learn, to reflect on his instruction and to improve as an Instructor so that he can provide his students with the most valuable Kumon experience
