About the Instructor

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, Siddisee serves as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. Siddisee will create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and will emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of her students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, Siddisee has a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Siddisee Hirpa is the Instructor for the Kumon of Carrboro - South Green. In this role, Siddisee leads a team of assistants providing in person and virtual support for students studying in the Kumon Math and Reading Programs. As a strong advocate for education, she helps her students master concepts in both subjects, and believes that there is unlimited potential in each student she works with.

Some of Siddisee’s greatest joys as an Instructor are seeing a student gain confidence and master concepts that are at their grade level and beyond. In her spare time, Siddisee enjoys watching foreign movies and reading.

Prior to opening her Kumon center, Siddisee received a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies, with a minor in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina - Greensboro, and Master of Science degree from North Carolina State University in Communication. Siddisee was first employed at Kumon in 2014, and was trained in all areas of the Kumon Classroom. After completing her Master’s degree, Siddisee decided to use all the skills she had learned and open her own Kumon in Carrboro.
