Success  Stories

Our students, ranging from preschool through 12th grade, develop the skills that help them build upon each concept they learn. With individualized learning plans, motivation and practice, our center prepares students to become avid learners, encouraging success throughout their entire academic experience and beyond.

Kumon has been the saving grace of my daughter's education. We have been with Kumon for six months and are thrilled with the outcomes. My daughter has made Kumon part of her routine, has gained the confidence needed to do her math work in school, and has linked her new knowledge to other problem solving questions. Even her 2nd grade teacher who was a non-believer at first has noted my daughter’s improvement and is now inquiring about the program for her other students. Thank you Kumon!

Since my daughter started going to Kumon 6 months ago, her math skills have improved noticeably because of daily repetition. It's not easy to get through the homework, but the results really show. A classmate from school told my daughter, "You are the smartest one in the class." This made her very happy and motivated her to do even more. There is nothing else that can give her the math skills and the confidence she gained at Kumon.

Kumon is the best thing ever happened to my son Frank Jr. My son is in 3rd grade and he was struggling with Maths. I had a tutor for a while, but that didn’t work. So my frustration led me to discover Kumon online. I enrolled him at Kumon and now he’s gone from hesitating to do Maths to developing great interest in Maths. With Kumon’s method, and Ms. Natania and her able staff at Carroll Gardens, my son’s horizon in Maths is great. Thank you Kumon at Carroll Gardens!

Kumon has been a saving grace for my daughter. After two years of pre-school and Kindergarten at a sweet, small Montessori school, she started 1st grade at P.S. 29 – one of the finest elementary schools in New York City, and a very different environment from her previous school in terms of size and expectations. She was overwhelmed and struggling, particularly with reading and writing. After just a couple of months at Kumon, her confidence has soared and she is completely caught up to where she needs to be. It is such a joy to see her relaxing and enjoying the adventure of reading. I cannot recommend Kumon, and Miss Natania, enough.
