Head Instructor LaMotte received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Nevada State University and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He worked in Higher Education Administration, most recently as an Associate Dean of Students.
One of Toro Kumon's most popular phrases to instructors was "Give it a try! Or you will never discover your true potential."
While this phrase was directed at instructors, Instructor LaMotte believes it to be true of the students we serve as well. Often times, students live up, or down, to expectations. When challenged and supported appropriately, students are capable of meeting challenges and unlocking their true potential. Whether your child is frustrated at being behind grade level or bored because they are not being challenged, the Kumon Math and Reading Center would love the opportunity to work with them and support them finding their "just-right" level of study so that they can continuously develop confidence and become self-learners that will serve them well in their math and reading skills and beyond.
