About the Instructor

Introduction

Let me first start off by saying that I am truly happy that you are interested to see what Kumon can offer your child. As a mother of 2, I understand that we want only the best for our children, whether it be socially, physically and/or academically. I also know you have choices and I truly get that. Let me say that children have always been my center - from the time I graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a BS in Child and Adolescent Development, through my many years of teaching preschool children at Montessori, from the birth of my twin babies, to becoming an instructor at Kumon.

As your child's instructor, I am a true believer in that every child is a unique individual, with their own individual thought process and their own individual way of doing things. As your child’s instructor/mentor, my goal is to identify that uniqueness and tailor a unique lesson plan using the proven techniques of the Kumon method. The ultimate end goal in mind is to “make your smart kid, smarter.”
