About the Instructor

Introduction

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Bio pic

Prior to being a Kumon Instructor, I worked at IMFlash Technologies and Intel for approximately 20 years. During my course of education, I have earned a Bachelors in Electronics Engineering in Chicago Illinois and a Master in Education at University of New Mexico. I've always had a passion for education and Kumon gave me the opportunity to help students of all ages with math and reading.

I'm also a Kumon parent myself, both my kids have been doing Kumon since the age of 6 yrsold. Having seen their development because of Kumon, inspired me to share the Kumon Method. My vision for my Kumon center is to have all students develop into confident, self-learners. I want my students to walk into the center knowing they have all the tools they need, and to be able to confidently apply them to whatever challenges they face.
