Trisha Gross, Center Director & Kumon Instructor
I graduated with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics from Texas State University, and spent many years in Austin’s IT industry as a systems administrator, operations lead and project manager. While focusing on raising my son and daughter and taking a very active role in their academic progress at the Leander schools, I found my true passion: working with students, and helping them reach their full potential in math and reading. As an LISD parent for over 18 years. I have volunteered on PTA boards, LISD school re-zoning committees and have a good understanding of the curriculum LISD offers.
My goal as a parent and as a Kumon Instructor is to not only help guide your student to average or above-average aptitude in math and reading, but to support them and inspire them to excel, and unlock the doors of opportunity as their college years near!
As a Kumon parent for many years, I am a firm believer in the Kumon method and have seen its benefits in the academic journeys of my son and daughter. Kumon is, fundamentally, carefully guided repetition and mastery of concepts that progress from simple building blocks to the more complex concepts in math and reading, and span from pre-K to well into high school and early college competency areas. There is an elegance in its simplicity, and our youngsters will learn that hard work can and will equal success, and even excellence. I firmly believe that these simple concepts apply to learning and mastering math, reading, and beyond, and I look forward to showing you and your student what the Kumon Method can do for you.
