About the Instructor

My name is Mrs. Rajashree Khedekar, my students know me as Ms. Raji.  I have been running the Kumon of Lewis Center since January 2011. As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

The love of teaching is what brought me to open a Kumon Center.  I have been a Kumon assistant in the past. I am a Kumon parent and a Kumon Instructor. Being able to see Kumon through these roles helps me understand a student and his or requirements from different angles. Kumon focuses on independent learning and gives me a chance to help each student through individualized lesson planning. I believe that education opens doors to numerous opportunities in the future and so, I am grateful to be able to help students through Kumon.

Kumon is a wonderful after-school program that helps a student achieve his /her true potential. Working with students over time I have witnessed that on number of occasions.  I would love to share this program with as many students as possible.
