Spring has arrived!

We are excited to have added our first student assistants, joining Karen, Kim and Cam, who have been cycling in through the past two weeks. We welcome Farah, an STA student (and former Kumon scholar!!), Cindy (in post-graduate studies in Speech and Language Therapy at Western), Dillan and Audrey (both students)to the team. The assistants will be working hard to keep up with all the marking that students produce both in-class and as homework. They will also be pitching in to support 1:1 at times.

We are about to celebrate our first awarding of Bronze Medals for students who have achieved their Kumon International Standard grade level. Our goal is to have students reach this level within a year of beginning at Kumon - getting there in less than half a year is outstanding progress! Their next goal - to reach Silver Medal status - 6 months over their Kumon International Standard grade level. Congratulations!

At the orientation, you'll find out how Kumon's unique approach to learning can help your kids:

• Master math and reading, often helping them earn their best grades ever
• Build study skills such as confidence, focus and work ethic
• Reduce homework stress and test anxiety

Your child/children will complete an assessment that will give you:

• Valuable insights into where they stand in their learning
• A recommended progression path that shows what your kids can achieve in their first six months of Kumon

The instructor will prepare an individualized lesson plan for your kids and support them as they progress through Kumon.
