About the Center

Welcome to the Kumon of Midtown West Math and Reading Center. For more than 50 years, the Kumon after-school academic enrichment program has been helping children achieve success worldwide.

Kumon of Midtown West opened in July 2009.  Most of our students attend schools in the Midtown West community including: PS 212, PS 51, PS 111, PS 199, Sacred Heart of Jesus, and Holy Cross.  In addition, Kumon of Midtown West also helps many young learners develop a strong foundation for school through the mastery of pre-reading and numeracy skills. Since 2009, we have motivated all of our students to perform at their highest potential. We strive to instill in children the desire to achieve more, a love of learning and the motivation to learn on their own.
