About the Instructor

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

In my professional life, I have worked in customer service and as a registered nurse. Committed and caring, I have always had a great passion for helping people of all ages. I routinely balanced the concerns of the customers while preserving the reputation of the organization. I am an ambitious individual with a zealousness for making a positive difference in the lives of young children. Enrolling my child into the Kumon program, and observing her subsequent academic progress, inspired me to open my own center and present the benefits of Kumon to a new community.

I am a hardworking, open-minded, patient and supportive towards other people, especially towards children. The goal for my Kumon franchise is to become the most respected supplementary education center in the area. I want to spread the joy of learning to our students and help them increase their achievements at school. I work with my students to instill within them self-confidence and motivation, traits which will help them beyond school and successfully prepare them for the next stages of their young lives as they mature into adulthood!
