About the Instructor

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor for students to provide direction, support, and encouragement. I create an individualized daily study plan to help unlock the potential of each child. The Kumon Math and Reading Center of Plano – Four Corners works to develop accuracy in completing the assignments within a designated time frame to help increase self-confidence, self-reliance, and motivation. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Ms. Sylvia received her education in Ottawa, Canada. As of now, she is a proud resident of the DFW area for the 25 years. In her free time, she enjoys tending to her garden. Ms. Sylvia loves growing vegetables and fruits to sustain her daily eating. She also enjoys working with local charities to help those in need.
