For most of her professional life, Usha Devulapalli has been committed to education. Shortly after getting a Masters in History and a Bachelors in Education, Devulapalli went on to teach at elementary schools, working in her position for four years. Devulapalli later immigrated to North America, where she took a break from education and worked in the computer industry for four years. After realizing that her true calling lay in education, however, she opened Kumon of Global Mall in 2002 and has served as its instructor ever since. As a Kumon Instructor, Devulapalli has personally worked with over 700 students since she opened the center, and the number continues to burgeon.
