Instructor Information
My name is Marian Jenvey and I am the Pembroke Kumon Instructor. In addition to having been extensively trained in the Kumon method, I am a certified Ontario Teacher. Additionally, I hold Specialist Qualifications in Special Education and Computers, as well as Principal's Qualifications. My teaching experience includes work as a Classroom and Special Education Teacher, as well as being an Elementary School Principal in several schools with the Renfrew County District School Board.
The Kumon Program offers a unique approach designed to not only advance math and/or reading skills but also to develop persistence, independence and concentration, all important factors in student success. Renfrew County Kumon is owned by Family and Children’s Services of Renfrew County. The Pembroke Kumon Program is operated for the benefit of the clients of Family and Children’s Service as well as for fee paying members of the general public.
