About the Instructor

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

In 2007, Ms. Janese opened a Kumon Center as a passion to provide supplemental education to her own two children so that they would have a competitive edge among peers from all over world. As a result, the love for her children blossomed into a successful after-school learning program that has served thousands of students for over 14 years. With a Bachelor of Science from Hampton University and a Masters in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University, she uses her educational background along with the Kumon Method to help students aim for high school and beyond. 

As a former executive for a non-profit child-based organization and a manager for an international custodial bank in corporate, it is important for all of her students to have a rock solid foundation in math and reading skills. Just like Mr. Toru Kumon, she believes that every child is an achiever and deserves the chance to become productive citizens who will contribute to society.
