At just four years old, Zorien is already showing an extraordinary love for learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Platinum-level Kumon Reading and Math student, achieving a C by 1 award already, he approaches each worksheet with curiosity, focus, and excitement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His strong problem-solving skills, memory, and eagerness to take on new challenges have also led him to become one of the youngest children accepted into both Mensa and Intertel at age 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the support of Kumon and his family, Zorien continues to grow in confidence, independence, and academic ability each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q&A With Zorien\u2019s Parents<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

When did you first notice that Zorien was showing advanced learning abilities?<\/strong>
We noticed his advanced abilities when he began recognizing numbers, letters, and patterns very early on. He started reading at the age of two, with his favorite books being “Brown Bear, Brown Bear”, “Polar Bear”, etc. His pediatricians and teachers also observed that he learned quickly and displayed unusually strong memory and problem-solving skills for his age.

What was your reaction when you realized Zorien was one of the youngest members worldwide accepted into Mensa and Intertel?<\/strong>
We felt incredibly proud of him. More than the recognition itself, it was affirming to see his curiosity and love for learning reflected in these achievements. We also felt grateful for the guidance his educators and Kumon instructors provided along the way.

What drew you to start Zorien in the Kumon Program at a young age?<\/strong>
We knew early on that Zorien was curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn. Kumon\u2019s structure, emphasis on independence, discipline and focus on mastery made it the perfect fit for nurturing his early academic foundation and for developing self-discipline through daily homework.

How has Kumon supported his curiosity and skills development?<\/strong>
Kumon has strengthened Zorien\u2019s discipline, focus, and confidence. The daily routine has helped him develop strong study habits, and the incremental challenge of the worksheets fuels his desire to learn more. It also supported his readiness for advanced assessments like the Wechsler Intelligence Test.

What hopes or goals do you have for Zorien as he continues in Kumon?<\/strong>
Our hope is that he continues to build resilience, independence, and a genuine love for learning. We want him to stay curious and self-driven, and Kumon gives him the structure to keep growing at his own pace.

Any other information you\u2019d like to share about your Kumon experience?
<\/strong>We are grateful to Ms. Emily and the Kumon team for recognizing Zorien\u2019s potential and supporting him with encouragement, individualized guidance, and a positive learning environment. Kumon has truly become an important part of his growth – not only academically, but in building confidence and perseverance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you enjoy most about Kumon?<\/strong>
\u201cI like to level up and get certificates, Kumon dollars and stickers. It’s a lot of fun!\u201d

What is your favorite thing to learn about?<\/strong>
\u201cI like math and big numbers! And I like reading new stories.\u201d

What is the hardest thing you\u2019ve learned?<\/strong>
\u201cBig division with remainders! Sometimes they are so tricky.\u201d

How do you feel when you finish your Kumon for the day?<\/strong>
\u201cI feel happy because I will go to the next level soon!\u201d

What advice would you give to kids just starting Kumon?<\/strong>
\u201cDo your pages every day and get cool stickers, and eventually your certificates!\u201d

What was your favorite part or biggest takeaway from the 2025 Global Kumon Student Conference?<\/strong>
\u201cThere was a little boy named Hugo and I got to learn about him\u201d

What activities or hobbies do you like to do?<\/strong>
\u201cI like puzzles, drawing, painting, reading books, biking, and playing soccer.\u201d

What do you want to be when you grow up?<\/strong>
