Research backs this up. According to the U.S. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acf.hhs.gov\/opre\/report\/childrens-learning-and-development-benefits-high-quality-early-care-and-education#:~:text=Participating%20in%20ECE%20helps%20children,when%20ECE%20is%20high%2Dquality.\" aria-label=\"U.S. Department of Health &amp; Human Services\" aria-label=\"Department of Health &amp; Human Services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Department of Health &amp; Human Services<\/a>, early care and education programs can help children learn foundational skills for reading, math, self-control and positive relationships. The social and emotional learning benefits of kindergarten readiness are numerous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>KINDERGARTEN READINESS STARTS WITH EARLY LEARNING<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Early learning programs start at age 3, well before your child\u2019s first day of kindergarten \u2013 giving them plenty of time to build social-emotional readiness. Children can learn a great deal early on \u2013 socially, emotionally and academically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kumon\u2019s pencil skills worksheets are excellent supplements to the math and reading worksheets. They help preschoolers develop fine motor skills by practicing how to hold a pencil through scribbling, drawing lines, curves and angles.
