He was able to develop focus and\u00a0patience, which helped him appreciate\u00a0the importance of mastery.\u201d<span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"height: 9px;\"><\/div>\n<p>Atharv\u00a0is the first one to admit that\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/campaign.kumon.com\/math-and-reading-program\/\" aria-label=\"Kumon\">Kumon<\/a>\u00a0hasn\u2019t been an easy road for him, but he\u2019s most thankful for the work skills that he\u2019s developed throughout the years, including improving his attention span, focus, patience, confidence and overall morale. In fact, if you popped into his Kumon Center, you\u2019d probably see him giving pep talks, encouraging both staff and students alike to be their best academic self.\u00a0<span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"height: 9px;\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThe best piece of advice that I have for kids just starting Kumon is to never give up,\u201d said\u00a0Atharv. \u201cAt first, Kumon may seem hard, but you won\u2019t know until you try. Just try your hardest and you will succeed.
