The solutions developed by teams include basic STEM applications, critical thinking, presentation skills, and\u00a0creativity.\u00a0\u00a0In 2017,\u00a0Shrishant and his\u00a0team won the regional competition,\u00a0and\u00a0they\u00a0continue to take pride in their creations.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"height: 9px;\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\r\n<figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7671\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kumon.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Award-e1578327180485-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"210\" height=\"280\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.kumon.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Award-e1578327180485-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.kumon.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Award-e1578327180485.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 210px) 100vw, 210px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shrishant\u2019s accomplishments don\u2019t stop there.\u00a0He\u00a0was one of 56 students\u00a0selected for Kumon\u2019s 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0Annual Student Conference in Chicago, Illinois.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI was\u00a0overjoyed\u00a0and proud of myself when I found out I was selected,\u201d said Shrishant. \u201cThe Student Conference was very inspirational, and my favorite part was listening to former Kumon Students.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shrishant\u00a0and the rest of the attendees had the opportunity to learn from each other through educational activities\u00a0designed to\u00a0foster team building, group discussion, critical thinking and creativity.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"height: 20px;\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He\u00a0shares\u00a0highlights from his Kumon journey and\u00a0reveals\u00a0who his inspiration is.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"height: 15px;\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What do you enjoy most about Kumon?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The thing I enjoy most about Kumon is when I\u00a0am working on a new math concept. It\u2019s also so exciting to complete a\u00a0level!\u00a0I felt\u00a0such\u00a0a sense of accomplishment when I completed the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kumon.com\/reading-program\" aria-label=\"Kumon Reading Program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kumon Reading Program<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"height: 15px;\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How has Kumon helped you\u00a0<\/strong><strong>academically?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kumon has\u00a0helped me academically\u00a0and\u00a0I\u2019m now ahead of my peers in school. Procrastination just leads to more work the next day. Kumon has taught me to remain disciplined\u00a0and dedicated to my education.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"height: 15px;\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>If you could sum up your Kumon experience in\u00a0<\/strong><strong>one word,<\/strong><strong>\u00a0what would it be<\/strong><strong>?<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inspirational.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"height: 15px;\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who\u2019s your biggest inspiration and why<\/strong><strong>?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My biggest inspiration has always been\u00a0my family. My mom, dad, and sister have always supported and motivated me. They give me so many new ideas and I LOVE being around them.
