About the Instructor

Introduction

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Biography and Background

Mr. David worked in the field of engineering in various capacities: as a satellite test engineer, software test engineer and quality control engineer before opening the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Riverview - Boyette. He used statistics and mathematics, in these roles, to ensure reliability of the products delivered to his customers. In 2015 Mr. David opened the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Riverview - Boyette to help students excel and reach their potential using the time tested methods of Kumon. He has an uncanny ability to motivate and encourage his students who range from Pre-K to high school.

Mr. David first became involved with Kumon when he enrolled his son in the program at 10 years old. His 2 younger daughters were enrolled at younger ages after seeing the positive results. This is when he saw how the Kumon methodology facilitated academic success. Comparing previous attempts to tutor his oldest 2 children, which only remedied an immediate problem, to Kumon which got to the root cause of their academic struggles sparked his interest in the field of education. Passionate about his work, Mr. David takes the responsibility and the trust that parents put in him very seriously. Mr. David believes that every child has untapped potential, and that it is his job to make sure that no stone is left unturned to help them reach it.
