About the Instructor

Hello. I am Abraham, the Instructor at the Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Scarborough - Brimley & Huntingwood.

I have a Biology Degree from York University and a Masters’ Degree in Business from Western. I run this center with more than 30 different teaching assistants. We have teaching assistants who are English experts, Math whizzes', and even University students completing Education Degrees to help your children excel. We are very involved in helping our students improve.

Our center is a reflection of the community we serve and the great multi-cultural city we live in. Our staff is able to provide communication in many languages, including Mandarin and Cantonese.

Our goal is to Help our Agincourt Kids become Successful Adults.

I am a continuous learner. I completed my bachelor’s degree in Biology in my twenties but I have continued to pursue education ever since. I completed my MBA at Western’s Richard Ivey School of Business in 2014, but I didn’t stop there. I obtained my Green Belt in Six Sigma right after and also just completed Digital Marketing at the University of Toronto.

Every month we are helping more students improve their academic skills and helping them be a success and contribute to our society. This is my goal. After finishing my MBA at Ivey, I wanted to make a positive change in our community, and I am grateful that I can help children achieve their potential. My family is filled with teachers as both my parents, 4 of my aunts and my grandfather were all teachers, so I suppose you can say it’s in my blood.
