About Your Instructor
Gandhimathi Dorairaj
I have been an Instructor at Kumon of Scarborough-Kennedy Ellesmere for the past 17 years. My educational background includes Master’s Degree in Instrumentation and Bachelor's in Electronics and Communication.
Driven by the Kumon's educational principles, my passion for Math, and a deep commitment to student learning, I made the decision in 2008 to become an instructor and introduce the Kumon Method to the children in Scarborough.
At our Kumon center, we are committed to cultivating self-motivated learners who possess strong academic abilities, creativity, and quick thinking. We achieve this through personalized, high-quality instruction using the proven Kumon Method. Our belief is that these students will develop the necessary skills to thrive in the future and make positive contributions to the world.
In essence, KUMON to me means:
Knowing your students and understanding their needs
Unfolding the hidden potential within each child
Motivating and encouraging students
Observing students in class as they work
Nurturing students to become self-motivated learners.
