About the Instructor

Introduction

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Elizabeth Marcos opened her first Kumon Center of Missouri City - West, Texas in early September 1995.

Before she became a Kumon Instructor, she was a Kumon parent for three years. The benefits of this program not only advanced her son significantly past his school level, but instilled a love of learning and an independence to do so, a great change from a lackadaisical child as so many young children are. Therefore, she was motivated to share it with her two younger sons.

With all the great benefits that Kumon has given to her children, she wanted to share the opportunity with other parents and improve her community through increasing the youth’s academic standard.

Due to increasing interest and popular demand for Kumon’s continued successful results, she opened her second center in Sugar Land - New Territory in April 2002.
