As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.
Lillian Brijeski has a Master's degree in Reading Education from Queens College and a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from NYIT. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Queens College in Early Childhood Education. Before joining Kumon, she has taught various grade levels in NYC and Westchester schools. Lillian's children are also studying the Kumon Method. She says, "I believe in the Kumon Method and how it is helping my children be more confident and successful in school. I want to bring that feeling to other children and their families to help build a stronger learning community."
Lillian Brijeski is a New York State certified teacher in Reading grades K-12 and common branch subjects grades PreK-6. She was a tenured teacher with over a decade of experience teaching in the elementary schools of Brooklyn, Armonk, and Pleasantville.
