Mrs. Nandi's Biography and Background
ABOUT ME
Throughout her professional career, Mrs. Nandi was devoted to her work but realized that she wanted the ability to spend more time with her children. At the time, Mrs. Nandi’s oldest son was a student of Kumon and this inspired her to pursue the world of Kumon further, as an Instructor.
- In June of 1995, Mrs. Nandi opened her first center, which is the Kumon of Temple City!
- In May of 2009, Mrs. Nandi opened her second center, which is the Kumon of Pasadena – East!
Since then, Mrs. Nandi has wanted to bring the power of this program to other children. By seeing its phenomenal success with her own, two sons, and the longer-term benefits that come after students finish the program, Mrs. Nandi has strived to bring this possibility to children within her community.
CENTER GOALS
I want my students to come into my center knowing that it is a safe space for them to be themselves and to comfortably learn math and reading. Through the Kumon Method, I’m confident I can instill a strong academic foundation in our community that will lead to future success.
Another mission that I have for my two centers is for young students to be disciplined, focused, and independent learners. By adhering to the true Kumon Method, I continue to bolster my students through daily worksheet study. These are some of the key aspects that are needed, in order to achieve academic excellence.
WHY I ENJOY KUMON
- I enjoy seeing the moments when my students understand newer and more challenging concepts, with little guidance from an Instructor. This shows that my students have reached milestones in their academic development where independent study is a reality and not a hope or a wish.
