Kena and Lilinoe enrolled in Kumon with the goal of going to Kamehameha Schools. Their consistent hard work has developed their academic skills and has increased their critical thinking and application skills. They have put in the time to study and master the material and have achieved that academic edge. They made the choice with their families and followed through on their dedication to ensure that they put Kumon into their daily routine, and they are beginning to see their hard work pay off. Hi, my name is Caroline Culverhouse,
I am a mother of Ananda and psychotherapist of adults and children in private practice in Waimea. I cannot begin to tell you how much Kumon has helped my daughter in her reading, writing, and spelling! She went from below her grade level to being bumped up to the highest reading level in her class within 2 years time! If Kumon helped us accomplish this much change when we weren’t always the best at twice-weekly attendance due to other activities, I can’t imagine how much more it’s doing for students who are able to come twice a week!
I give La’akea and her Kumon staff five stars. We are so blessed to have them in our community, supporting our Keiki in all their academic needs!
