I grew up in Orlando, Florida not far from the city of Winter Springs. I attended Columbia Elementary School, Corner Lake Middle School, and East River High School. After high school, I attended the University of Central Florida and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders for Speech Therapy, as well as a minor in Psychology. I knew my calling was to work with children, and after graduating, I decided to begin the extensive Instructor training program for Kumon, rather than to go into the therapy profession.
I have had nearly seven years of experience with the Kumon Program and Method and have seen immense growth in the children enrolled in the program. I began my Kumon journey as an Early Learner's Assistant; working with students aged 3 to 6 years old. I enjoyed every second of guiding children through the program and began to understand the benefits of the Kumon Method. After nearly four years of Early Learners, I moved to the position of Chief Assistant, working with older children, and becoming more involved with both parents, as well as the lesson planning process.
Knowing the benefit of the Kumon Program, as well as my belief in the Method, and the individual ability of all children, I am looking forward to helping your child or children to reach their full potential!
