About Your Instructor
DIMPLE MOHANTY
I have a double master's degree in Political Science and Mass Communications, along with a doctorate in public administration. I have trained and worked as a journalist, more specifically as an editor and web content writer in the mass media industry. I am a writer and author and my work includes "The Music of the Earth" a collection of poems, among others. I was drawn to the Kumon Method when my son was struggling with his Reading comprehension as an elementary student. A friend suggested enrolling him in Kumon and neither one of us has looked back since!
I am happy to share that Kumon helped my son to overcome his weaknesses and he currently attends a top ranked college in the country. I was so impressed with the Kumon method and the joy of learning it inculcates among students that I gave up my successful career in journalism to be a full time Kumon instructor. It has been an amazing journey these past thirteen years giving me the fulfillment of having shared the Kumon method with hundreds of students.
It gives me immense pleasure to see my students benefiting from doing Kumon everyday. It has become a part of their daily life and as a result, little by little, I watch them grow, blossom and transform, reaching heights they had not imagined before. They not only develop and hone skills in Math and Reading, but develop self confidence, good study habits and grow as individuals. The Kumon method is truly life transforming and I consider myself lucky to be able to share it with students in the community.
