Center Updates

Save-the-Date: A Special Literacy Open House event on Saturday, March 3rd from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.

Join us at our Center for free children's activities, giveaways and refreshments. Tell your family, friends and neighbors about this event and help support literacy in our community!  For every new enrollment in March, Kumon will help bring books to children in need across the U.S. by making a donation of 4 books to Reading is Fundamental (RIF).  Thanks for your support, we'll see you there!

We are pleased to announce that Kumon Math & Reading Center Of Sandy has been selected for the 2011 Best of Sandy Award in the Supplemental Education category by the US Commerce Association (USCA).

The USCA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Thanks to our instructor Prabha, our great staff and our dedicated students and parents for helping us to earn this recognition and for making our center such a success!

How to Enroll Your Child

Step 1
Call the center to book a free Parent Orientation and Placement Test for your child.
Step 2
Attend the Parent Orientation, and have your child take the placement test. Meet with your instructor to learn about Kumon’s individualized learning method, and review the results from your child’s placement test.
Step 3
Review your child’s progress goal plan. Based on your child’s placement test results, the instructor will create a one-year academic plan to help your child reach his or her goals.
Step 4
Enroll your child. Students will attend the center twice a week, and complete daily assignments at home. Your instructor will design an individualized lesson plan for your child that will be monitored, and changed as needed to be sure he or she is on track to reach his or her goals.
Step 5
Schedule your 30-day post-enrollment meeting. Your instructor will set a date to meet with your family after 30 days of enrollment to evaluate your child’s performance and ensure the program is going smoothly.
