About Your Instructor
Aivy Bui
Welcome to Aliso Viejo Kumon! My name is Ms. Aivy, and I am honored to serve as the Director and Instructor at Aliso Viejo Kumon.
Before becoming a Kumon Director, I worked as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for 11 years, including experience working with our local school district. In that role, I developed individualized goals and lesson plans for students with a wide range of abilities and learning needs. I now bring that same expertise, compassion, and individualized approach to Kumon, creating customized learning experiences that help each student reach their full potential.
I also believe that success through Kumon requires a team approach. The Aliso Viejo Kumon staff and I work together to guide and support students throughout their Kumon journey. We value open communication with parents and guardians to better understand each child's needs and establish a pace that allows each student to progress with confidence.
My goal is not only to help students strengthen their academic skills, but also to help them develop confidence, independence, perseverance, and a belief in their own abilities. I look forward to meeting with you, learning more about your child's needs, and working together to create a plan for their journey through Kumon.
I am excited to partner with families in the Aliso Viejo community and help each child discover just how much they are capable of achieving!
