About the Center

Introduction

Welcome to our Kumon Math and Reading Center. For more than 60 years, Kumon’s after-school academic enrichment program has helped children achieve success worldwide. We strive to instill in children the desire to achieve and the motivation to learn on their own. Whether your child is seeking enrichment, needs help catching up or is just beginning his or her academic career, Kumon is designed to help him or her develop a love of learning.

Students advance through the program at their own pace. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant. We monitor each child’s progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to a new concept. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, your child has the potential to achieve whatever he or she desires.

The Kumon Math Program is a comprehensive curriculum that develops the necessary skills to help children progress from counting through calculus. For more information about the Kumon Math Program.

The Kumon Reading Program begins with basic phonics and progresses all the way through advanced reading comprehension. For more information about the Kumon Reading Program.

Price and Fees

Monthly Tuition:

One Subject: $185

Two Subjects: $370

One-Time Fees:

Registration Fee: $80/student

The monthly tuition is due by the first of the month for that month. The tuition is due in full if the student attends any session or if any Kumon materials are taken by the student during that calendar month. The monthly tuition is non-refundable.

Please contact the Center for additional information about fees and pricing.

Policies

Absence Policy (Missing 1 - 2 Classes):

If your child will be absent, please let us know in advance via email or by calling the center to request their assignments. More than one (1) week's worth of assignments requires advance notice in writing.

Absence Policy (Extended Absence):

Please note that the Kumon Absence Policy allows for students to take one (1) calendar month off per year where we do not charge tuition for the absent month and the student is not given any assignments. However, if the student is absent for a month but takes assignments for that month, then he/she is not considered absent and tuition will be charged. An absence of more than one month (without paying tuition) results in the student being dropped from the program, and having to re-enroll as a new student upon return.

Written notice is required a minimum of fifteen (15) days prior to the month of absence.

Cancellation Policy

Parents may request a cancellation at any time. Written notice is required a minimum of fifteen (15) days prior to the end of their final month of enrollment. After six months' continuous enrollment, students are eligible for the return of their security deposit upon leaving the program.
