About the Center

Welcome to our Kumon Math and Reading Center. For more than 60 years, Kumon’s after-school academic enrichment program has helped children achieve success worldwide. We strive to instill in children the desire to achieve and the motivation to learn on their own. Whether your child is seeking enrichment, needs help catching up or is just beginning his or her academic career, Kumon is designed to help him or her develop a love of learning.

Students advance through the program at their own pace. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant. We monitor each child’s progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to a new concept. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, your child has the potential to achieve whatever he or she desires.

The Kumon Math Program is a comprehensive curriculum that develops the necessary skills to help children progress from counting through calculus. For more information about the Kumon Math Program.

The Kumon Reading Program begins with basic phonics and progresses all the way through advanced reading comprehension. For more information about the Kumon Reading Program.

Please call or schedule a free orientation for information on pricing. We are significantly less expensive than private tutors and "quick fix" types of tutoring programs in Arapahoe County. Click on the Success Stories tab to see student and parent testimonials.

Enrollment period:
Enrollment period of six months minimum is recommended. One year of Kumon studies is recommended to study beyond grade level.

Discontinuing Kumon:
Written notification by the 1st of the month (30 days advanced notice) is required.

Absent from class and picking up work:
Call/text the center by closing (before 6:30pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) and let us know that you want to pick up the worksheets. We will leave them outside in the pick up box.

Vacation Notice:
Please inform the instructor one week before your vacation so that we have enough time to prepare the extra homework packets. You may request a modification to the number of pages given or request no homework at all during vacation.

Snow Closure Policy:

Students who attend Kumon live anywhere from a few blocks to 30 miles away from Kumon, we follow the Cherry Creek School District's decisions regarding school closures due to inclement weather. Parents are asked to their best judgement on class attendance since road conditions can vary wildly across Cherry Creek School District. In the highly unlikely event of a Kumon Closure, parents will be notified by: undated Center Voicemail, email and social media.
