About Your Instructor
Laura Yeager
I hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, which have equipped me with a strong foundation in both analytical thinking and structured problem-solving. My professional journey with Kumon began in 2017 when I joined as an assistant. From the very beginning, I felt a strong connection to the program’s mission of empowering students to become confident, independent learners.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing firsthand how Kumon transforms students—not only by strengthening their math and reading skills but also by nurturing their focus, perseverance, and self-discipline. What sets Kumon apart is its ability to instill a mindset of continuous improvement and resilience, qualities that serve students far beyond the classroom.
As someone who personally struggled with math as a child, I know how frustrating it can be to face academic challenges. That’s why it’s so meaningful to me to now be in a position where I can support students through their own breakthrough moments. Watching them grow from hesitant learners into confident problem-solvers is an incredibly rewarding experience.
I deeply believe in the Kumon Method and its capacity to unlock every student’s potential. It’s an honor to contribute to their learning journey and to play a part in shaping not only stronger students, but more capable, self-reliant individuals prepared for future success
