About the Center

Welcome to the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Austin - Wells Branch! The Kumon of Austin - Wells Branch has been open since August 2002. Our mission is to deliver the Kumon Method with Dedication, Integrity, Excellence and Professionalism (D.I.E.P.). Although some of our students begin their Kumon journey as a remedial program, the program will be an enrichment program if the students and parents have a long-term commitment. At our center, we strive for our students to learn independently. We believe that by working independently on materials higher than the students’ grade levels, they will acquire the critical thinking skills needed for their life time learning. Our students will work in our classroom under our close observation and our guidance in a controlled environment when learning the new concepts.

The Kumon Math Program is a comprehensive curriculum that develops the necessary skills to help children progress from counting through calculus. For more information about the Kumon Math Program, click here.

The Kumon Reading Program begins with basic phonics and progresses all the way through advanced reading comprehension. For more information about the Kumon Reading Program, click here.

Placement Testing: Free
Registration Fee: $80
Material Fee: $30
Monthly Tuition: $160 per subject

There is no minimum period of enrollment.  We are open year-round.  We recommend that your child enrolls in the program for at least six months to a year to feel the benefits of the program on their study skills, confidence and success.  

In order to discontinue from our Kumon program, a written notice given 30 days in advance is required.
