About the Center

Welcome to Kumon of Carmel - North. Located at 146th Street and Oak Road (close to Handles), our dedicated staff combines years of experience working with children. We are dedicated to helping each child unlock his or her potential by developing abilities in math and reading to the maximum.

Students advance through the program at their own pace. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant. We monitor each child’s progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to a new concept. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, your child has the potential to achieve whatever he or she desires.

The Kumon Math Program is a comprehensive curriculum that develops the necessary skills to help children progress from counting through calculus. Learn more information about the Kumon Math Program.

The Kumon Reading Program begins with basic phonics and progresses all the way through advanced reading comprehension. Learn more information about the Kumon Reading Program.

Students pay a one-time registration fee of $80 and a one-time materials fee of $30 per student at the time of enrollment. 

The monthly tuition is $150 per month per subject.

Kumon Carmel- North is open for class from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday's and Thursday's. During this time, students will spend about a half hour per subject working to develop skills such as mental calculation, reading comprehension, and the proper study approach. Students spend time working on worksheets that have been carefully planned to meet his or her particular need for the day.
