About Your Instructor

Yoonmi Suh

Yoonmi Mia Suh graduated from the North Carolina State University with a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry. Prior to opening her Kumon Center of Cary - Hemlock Plaza, Mia worked as a software engineer in a clinical research organization for over ten years.

Mia’s passion for education stems from her own experience as a mom, wanting her children to become confident, independent thinkers. After seeing her sons develop a love of learning in Kumon, Mia was inspired to bring the Kumon Method to a broader level and see its benefits reach a larger community of families.
