About Your Instructor
EVE XU
I’m proud to celebrate my 23rd year teaching Kumon in the city. I deeply appreciate the trust and support from parents, school teachers, and principals—it’s truly a privilege to serve both public and private schools in our local communities.
I’m well-versed in the CPS testing system and curriculum, as well as those of local private schools. The majority of our students come to us through word of mouth—I don’t advertise or rely on online ratings or promotions.
Our orientation appointments are always free of charge. I insist on conducting one-on-one orientations rather than group sessions. I devote a full hour to assessing each new student and explaining the details of the Kumon program so that parents can make an informed decision.
Coming from a family of educators, I have a genuine passion for teaching and a strong desire to help children succeed. My mission is to develop students’ academic skills and self-learning ability, foster a love for learning, and instill discipline and perseverance.
I’m committed to working closely with students, parents, and school teachers to help every child reach their potential and thrive.
As a small courtesy, I kindly ask that families honor their scheduled orientation times or give advance notice if a change is needed. Missed or last-minute rescheduled appointments, while understandable, can create longer wait times for other families eager to begin their Kumon journey. Thank you for your understanding!
