About Your Instructor
Josephine Gatus
I graduated from Hult International Business School with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and initially worked with my family business as an advisor and marketing coordinator. Before deciding to pursue a career as a Kumon Instructor, I had the privilege of working in various educational roles, including as a teacher, tutor, and private curriculum developer. My journey in education has been rich with diverse experiences, from crafting specialized curricula for students of all ages to assisting ESL learners at Taft Charter High School. During this time, I also pursued my Master’s of Teaching at USC Rossier School of Education, further deepening my passion for individualized education. Now, I am thrilled to bring that passion to the Calabasas-East Center. I am incredibly fortunate to step into this role under the local guidance of Daynabelle Anderson, who has been an integral part of the Calabasas-West Center for the past eight years.
