About Your Instructor
ADITI MUKHERJI
It all began 17 years ago when I was searching for an enrichment program for my then 3-year-old son. I stumbled upon Kumon and was immediately drawn to its focus on self-learning and individualized instruction. My son began the Program and as I watched my son progress at his own pace and develop strong Math and Reading skills, I became convinced of the effectiveness of the Kumon Curriculum. Watching him thrive was an incredible experience for me as a parent. But it also sparked a passion in me to be more involved in the Program and to help other students have the same experience.
I started working as a Kumon Assistant and worked for three years. Despite having a background in electrical engineering, I realized that being a Kumon Instructor was my calling. So, 12 years ago, I decided to pursue it as my career path. My background in electrical engineering has provided me with a strong foundation in problem-solving and critical thinking skills, that have proven to be invaluable in my role as an Instructor, but my passion for the Kumon Curriculum has truly driven me to excel in this field. The joy and fulfillment I felt from helping students reach their goals was indescribable. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages and abilities, and it has been an honor to be a part of their journey. I have personally witnessed the impact of the Kumon Curriculum on transforming a student's mindset towards achieving excellence in Math and Reading at school.
In my role as an Instructor, I am constantly reminded of the importance of patience, persistence, and consistency. It is not always easy, but seeing the progress and growth in my students makes it all worth it. As an Instructor, I am also continuously learning and growing as an educator. The Kumon Curriculum is constantly evolving and updating, and I'm always looking for new ways to make the Program even more effective.
In short, being a Kumon Instructor has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of my students and to be a part of their learning journey. My passion for the Kumon Curriculum and my desire to help students reach their full potential will continue to drive me to excel in this field for many years to come.
