About Your Instructor
Jennifer Ju
Ms. Jennifer grew up in NJ her whole life, having first hand experience attending all the East Brunswick public schools and then graduated Rutgers University with highest honors under a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. She was a Kumon student herself, since the age of 4 years old, where Kumon was run in the 80's at home in her living room by her mother, Ms Helen Kim, one of the veteran instructors of Kumon.
She was raised as a Kumon child and is now a successful Kumon Instructor with a lot of spunk and personality to pour out onto her students! She has been operating the Edison Kumon center since 2008.
Before joining Kumon full time in 2008, she used her Civil Engineering graduation degree to work as an assistant construction project manager for Stantec, with projects related to highway/bridge/tunnel design and was an early addition to the design team that created the NJ E-ZPass system.
Back in February 2018, she was featured in an online Entrepreneur article and was also on the radio, on 98.3 for her Kumon success. She is an active member at her local church, Crossroads Church, and loves Ikea, construction work. After COVID, she became very passionate about growing her organic garden & enjoys letting her pet bunny run around loose to enjoy the garden. Her greatest joy is now collaborating with the very same students she taught as five-year-olds in 2008, who have returned to the learning center as dedicated teachers and staff.
